Alright. Here it is.....
TNA Signs Adam 'Pacman' Jones
It has now been confirmed that suspended NFL Tennessee Titan cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has signed a deal with TNA Wrestling. The deal was reportedly signed late last week.
As noted earlier, Jones is currently suspended for the entire 2007 NFL season without pay for personal problems which most noteably includes a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club that left former independent pro wrestler Tommy Urbanski paralyzed. His current suspension could possibly be lifted 10 games into the season pending a hearing. Jones was recently informed he wouldn't be allowed to attend the Titans training camp.
According to reports, the Titans organization has no issue with Jones getting involved with pro wrestling and TNA at this time. This was not an idea by Vince Russo to bring Jones into the company. Expect more news regarding this situation later today and during the week.
Women's Divison
There are said to be plans in the works for a secondary TNA title belt along with a Women's title belt with the assumption being that the company will have two hours for iMPACT! starting this fall.
Side-note: Supposedly, Lita AND Nidia have been talked about for TNA.
Andrew 'Test' Martin
Rumors have surfaced this morning that TNA has offered former WWE superstar Andrew "Test" Martin a contract. Two independent sources outside of TNA have not only confirmed the contract, but say that he has signed with the company.
TNA has yet to confirm and refused to comment when contacted this morning.
Side-note: Test could be called simply 'Test' in TNA. He had his middle name changed to Test so he could regain legal rights so Vince can't keep a copyright on it.
Giant Bernard (A-Train)
TNA has talked about bringing in Giant Bernard (ex-Albert, A-Train in WWE). Bernard and Tomko are IWGP Tag Team champions in New Japan. Giant Bernard is a major star over in Japan.
LAX/Nidia
There has been talk within TNA about bringing in former WWE diva Nidia to be apart of LAX. Former WWE diva 'Ariel' has also been talked about for a TNA debut.
Too Cool (Well, two thirds anyway)
TNA has talked with Rikishi about reforming two thirds of the former WWE tag team Too Cool. He would be paired in a tag team with Brian Christopher. No other details have been disclosed yet. Former Too Cool member Scotty 2 Hotty is also a free agent. He lives in Orlando, and going to theme parks is his favorite hobby. However, his name hasn't been brought up as far as I can tell. Christopher's name was specifically mentioned to be paired up with Rikishi.
Matt Morgan
TNA has asked for Matt Morgan to attend the tapings tomorrow night in Orlando, Fl. Sources indicate that TNA has huge plans for Morgan.
At this time we do not know whether or not Morgan will be available for the tapings tomorrow night due to flight delays regarding his return trip from Japan.
Side-note: Matt Morgan made his re-debut to WWE on April 21, 2005, with a new gimmick of a stuttering big-man who is defensive over his speech disorder and allied himself with Carlito Caribbean Cool to become Carlito's "backup", helping Carlito defeat The Big Show at WWE Judgment Day and John Cena for the United States Championship. This partnership ended when Carlito was drafted to RAW and subsequently Morgan was released by WWE on July 5, 2005.
