This is an interesting topic, to say the least...
I mean people watch wrestling for many different reasons.... Some for the high flying action, some for drama, some for the eye candy (for both male and female), some for power house people, some for the technical/mat wrestling, some watch it to see who will end up with blood on their face, and yet, others (believe it or not) watch it because they're just used to doing it....
My reason for watching wrestling is for a lot of reasons... I watch mainly, in honesty, for the high flying action, the big guys who fling those little guys across the ring, and for the storylines... I also watch so I can figure out ways to make my very own finishers, but that's a different topic....
I mean, professional wrestling has changed, no doubting that. It has gone from being power house dominant to being mixed with wide variations... Such as Highflyers, Show-offs, Extremists, Technical, Powerhouse, Gimmicks, and a whole bunch of stuff... but I just can't sit down when I see an X-Division or Cruiserweight match...

I just absolutely love the "sport" for itself, always have done. Even though there are screw-ups, the decent guys make it worthwhile for me.
If I could train to be a wrestler anywhere within an hour's travel of where I live, I would but...

I watch wrestling for the matches as seeing a great match will keep me happy for weeks.
Kur Angle vs. Shawn Micheals, Eddie vs. Rey, Benoit vs. Brett Hart in trubute of Owen on Nitro, Benoit vs. Regal, Finlay vs. Beniot, etc. are matches that I loved watching.
When I was a kid the angles mattered alot too but now that I know most of what big is going to happen before it happens I still get intrgued like when Cena got hurt how in the hell No Mercy was going to go down or who was going to replace Beniot in the finals of the ECW title tournie or how the fans treated Lesnar & Goldberg during their last match in WWE just wondering how they are going to react to last minute shit still gets my mind going but I mostly watch it just for the great matches. That's why I hated when they got rid of Velocity as you always had at least one good cruiserweight match a week on there & on Sunday Night Heat The Worlds Greatest Tag Team & London & Kendrick had a great tag fued afew months ago as even though the company doesn't care much about them they still give us good matches which makes me happy.
